Through the lens of faith I work with those walking through life transitions, wondering what’s next in their vocation, and/or wrestling with their sense of calling. Using workshops and individual coaching we will use DYL tools to reveal an integrated version of you.

I am a Certified Coach through Coaches Training Institute and Leadership Circle™ Practitioner. After leaving the corporate world, where I worked in Human Resource Management for 20
years, I spent 10 years at a non-profit educational organization. I gained a deep understanding of the gaps that exist in our traditional educational system and use that knowledge to partner with new college graduates to close those gaps and guide them in designing the life they are meant to live.

The profile approach to life and career excites me so much, it isn’t about one “correct answer.” Allow yourself to explore and iterate; the next exciting step is just around the corner. My own path has taken me to teaching English in Japan, to fundraising in Chicago and to all 50 states and 6 continents so far. I went to a small liberal arts college and a D1 research university for business school. My sweet spot right now is business school - I am the Director of the Online MBA at Washington State University.

I am the founder of happyproject.life, the life design and life management platform powered by a community on a mission to redesign the world one life at a time. I am also the producer of LifeHack, a seven week life design badging program designed specifically for teenage high school students and their parents dealing with the anxiety of planning life post high school. I live in the future. My joy is to ideate. My craft is business strategy. My skill is execution. Over the last 30 years I managed three major career and life pivots, explored more than nine industries, worked with startups, enterprises, Governments and NGOs, lived in seven countries, and earned two degrees. I held many roles and wore many hats. I lived them all fully. I was blessed with many fortunate encounters and serendipities. My only regret is not applying the discipline and mindset of a designer to my life’s Odyssey early on: it would have been 10 times easier, 10 times fuller, and 10 times more enjoyable. happyproject.life is about making it easier and more enjoyable for all life designers to build their Odysseys, and redesign the world.

I have spent my entire life chasing the answer to the question, ``What do you want to be when you grow up?`` I have worn several hats in my career, but it wasn't until I tried on a Human Resources hat that I started to find my groove---helping employees and managers become better versions of themselves. I am a helper, a listener, a learner, an observer, a question-asker, a coach. The question that once plagued me now excites me, and I am devoted to helping others find meaning in both their work and personal lives.
