Designing Your Life authors Bill Burnett and Dave Evans were invited down to New Orleans for the 2018 Clio Cloud Conference recently. They offered tips for attendees on how to apply Design Thinking to their legal careers. This recap post by Teresa Matich highlights their talk, including this quote from Bill Burnett:
“Empathy is a skill,” Bill said. “It involves an artfulness, and if lawyers are anything, they’re clever. They craft words all the time, so most can get good at clever, empathetic word crafting that gives clients a chance to respond with feedback.”
