We spend most of our lives working - work that defines us and demands our energy. Yet, sometimes we get stuck. There's many things we get stuck on-- how can I be a better leader? how can I find a new career? how can I find more peace at work? how can I plan for the future? I work with people who are stuck on figuring out that next step. Together, we reflect on who they are at their best, uncover what they have to offer and figure out ways to create meaning and fulfillment. Then we bring these insights to life.

As a certified coach and facilitator, and curious listener, with a background in design and construction, and a passion for travel and curling, I see a world where everyone thrives in their job. My career path started very technical – with civil engineering and architecture – but through trial and error, I developed “soft skills” and eventually became a certified project manager, a trusted client advocate, and an executive. I kept exploring leadership concepts and ways to effectively help grow others into their leadership skills, with self-awareness and willingness to be outside their comfort zone. What if feeling unsure about articulating your career path, simply means that it’s time to reflect on what makes you thrive? A few purposeful adjustment and new perspective can make a big difference, even in the job you have.
My executive business coaching practice is focused on CEOs in transition - into the C-suite, through the journey of reinvention mid career, and succession out of the job. We created a Next Chapter Workshop for those CEOs seeking clarity on how to use their skills, energies and curiosity to help others after leaving the C-suite.

As a Career Advisor and Coach, I have had the privilege of being part of the journey for hundreds of people finding their purpose and giving back to society in meaningful roles that shape our community and world. Having built my coaching philosophy by integrating client-led, solution-focused approaches, I ask powerful questions that champion authenticity and curiosity. I have made several transitions throughout my own life design journey from developing and working with psychological assessments, teaching Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness to first-time front-line leaders in the healthcare industry, and finally to higher education where I help future leaders connect the dots between past and present to design and fulfill careers full of purpose and meaning. I have a Master’s degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology and currently work as a coach and facilitator with MBA students at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
I have been teaching high school students since 2007. I have been a guidance counsellor since 2011. Since coming to Trinity College School, a boarding school about an hour outside of Toronto, I've specialized in post-secondary counselling with experience in navigating applications across Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, Japan and Europe. I have found the Designing Your Life materials to be of real value in working with students and families. I am passionate about helping people, students especially, find meaning and purpose in their lives and careers.

I’ve spent the last 30 years working with a diverse range of people around the world who share a common interest: They are seeking to significantly impact their worlds for good. I specialize in working with social innovators and entrepreneurs - I have a PhD in Social Innovation and am a Fellow of the RSA - but I also get excited about anyone who wants to make a difference but isn’t sure where to start or how to navigate the process. The DYL tools can be super powerful to gain clarity, get unstuck, grow in confidence, and take action. If you would like to start a conversation to explore how I might be able to help, then please get in touch.
As an organizational effectiveness consultant within a global company, my HR career has been guiding leaders and employees through challenges and change. To support teamwork, we used a variety of assessment tools (MBTI, TMP, SDI). When individuals are feeling lost or stuck, I often recommend the DYL dashboard and Odyssey exercises - having people spend some time thinking about where they are, and where they would like to be. Start here. Becoming a DYL coach was one of my Odyssey lives, the post corporate transition to a more fulfilling coaching career. Here I am. I look forward to sitting with you and asking, what do you want to do and be next? It will be my pleasure. Let’s get started.

My passion is to empower individuals, from diverse backgrounds, to embrace that life/career goals are realized through infinite thinking where each life/career experience builds on another, and the journey is to find satisfaction in what one does. My career is an example of a long winding road where after graduating with a BA in Psychology and a Diploma in Adult Education, I worked in a Social Work-related field with People with Disabilities, then shifted to consulting starting as a Recruitment Specialist and leaving the organization as President. My next adventure was starting my own consulting firm specializing in career and leadership coaching in Ontario and internationally. After, 15 years, I intended to semi-retire but an opportunity at Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario presented itself on the Career Management team and I have loved working as a Senior Career Advisor for the past two years.
