Designing Your Life Certified Coaches:
Vanessa is not your typical coach. She was previously working as a Chief Privacy Officer for a major financial institution in Canada. In addition of being a lawyer and holding an MBA, Vanessa has done different training related to wellness and is also a Certified Practitioner in Applied Neurosciences. Even though privacy law is something very entertaining, she always wanted to have a bigger impact in the world. Helping others is part of her DNA and that’s probably the reason why she got into law in the first place. At the beginning of 2019, she decided to listen to her intuition and took the leap: she founded Ntuiva, where she supports businesses and leaders in their transformation using neuroleadership.

We spend most of our lives working - work that defines us and demands our energy. Yet, sometimes we get stuck. There's many things we get stuck on-- how can I be a better leader? how can I find a new career? how can I find more peace at work? how can I plan for the future? I work with people who are stuck on figuring out that next step. Together, we reflect on who they are at their best, uncover what they have to offer and figure out ways to create meaning and fulfillment. Then we bring these insights to life.

I experienced a low point seven years ago, both personally and professionally, with only a glimmer of hope for a better life. I learned how to build resiliency, to design a path forward and to make significant changes in my life, including earning my MBA and starting a new career. People can bounce back from significant adversity, sometimes we just need someone to show us the way or to inspire us to take the next step. I’d be honoured to help you build resiliency, find joy and design your best life.

As a certified coach and facilitator, and curious listener, with a background in design and construction, and a passion for travel and curling, I see a world where everyone thrives in their job. My career path started very technical – with civil engineering and architecture – but through trial and error, I developed “soft skills” and eventually became a certified project manager, a trusted client advocate, and an executive. I kept exploring leadership concepts and ways to effectively help grow others into their leadership skills, with self-awareness and willingness to be outside their comfort zone. What if feeling unsure about articulating your career path, simply means that it’s time to reflect on what makes you thrive? A few purposeful adjustment and new perspective can make a big difference, even in the job you have.
