Sharri Harmel
Design Your (Mid) Life – It’s never too late! The need to design our lives doesn’t suddenly disappear when we reach a certain age or achieve a certain milestone. We have to keep checking in with ourselves and be willing to ask the tough questions. Happiness = our values + engaging in activities we like + using our strengths in our work + contributing to the world around us. If you feel your happiness meter is off and have no idea what next, it is time to dive into your life design.

Amanda Suniti Niskode-Dossett, Ph.D.
I am a higher education professional with 20 years of experience in leading, coaching, advising, and teaching diverse populations within higher education. I take pride in being thorough and thoughtful in coaching students and collaborating with colleagues on developing and improving initiatives. My professional interests include assessment, writing and editing, and scholar-practitioner development. The DYL approach helps more intentionally and effectively support a student’s decision-making process and make meaning of my own career path. Currently I serve as a Senior Academic & Career Coach in the Center for Academic Planning and Exploration (CAPE). CAPE is designed to provide targeted, ``high-touch`` academic transition support for students who will most benefit from such assistance – highly undecided students, students desiring competitive majors, and students transitioning from one college to another. In addition to coaching students individually, I supervise our team of peer coaches and teach OUE 2001, a course for major and career exploration. I learned a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Indiana University-Bloomington and a M.A.in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland-College Park.
