I’m Lucy Kinosian, an independent private counselor for youth and midlife women based in Frankfurt, Germany, helping people navigate moments of transition with courage and clarity.

I’m expanding my counseling work to meet two growing needs: supporting graduates as they make career decisions after university, and guiding midlife women as they transition into their next chapter. I’m drawn to the Design Your Life (DYL) methodology because its principles apply just as powerfully to young graduates as to women seeking a new direction in midlife. Both journeys, I believe, call for courage and clarity, and the DYL tools are simple, logical, and universally applicable.

My conviction is rooted in experience. Over a long corporate career in banking, I intuitively used many of the same strategies the program teaches, well before I encountered DYL formally. Discovering that these instincts had been codified into a proven framework reinforced my passion for bringing these tools to a broader community in Germany.

Beyond my work, I’m an avid hiker, reader, and writer with a deep interest in Eastern spirituality and philosophy. I love training with my dog Charlie in mantrailing and rally obedience, and I have a passion for theatre and travel. Above all, I treasure time with my family (2 college-aged kids and my German husband), split between the US and Germany.
