Laura is honored to serve as a career educator with three decades of experience in higher education, career counseling, professional speaking, and leadership. She holds an M.Ed. in Student Development in Higher Education from the University of Maine and a bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Laura founded Authentic Career + Life Design to provide career coaching to individuals and teams. This enterprise supports clients in navigating their career paths by aligning their choices with true aspirations, values, and passions. Laura collaborates with her clients to create actionable plans that set short and long-term goals, identify valuable resources, and overcome potential challenges, all while embracing their unique strengths and experiences authentically.
In her personal life, Laura enjoys cooking (and is fortunate to be married to a chef!), gardening, and singing karaoke (in the comfort of her living room). She takes pride in her roles as a daughter, wife, and mother in a blended family of young adults and a teenager. Laura is also an active community volunteer.
