Katie Denbo is a seasoned leader in marketing and employee engagement, serving on the leadership team at the 1440 Multiversity philanthropic campus in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She guides strategy to amplify the 1440 mission and educational experiences while fostering workplace wellbeing for internal and external clients. As a Certified True Colors Elite Facilitator, ICF-Certified Executive Coach, and Certified Organizational Mindfulness Facilitator, Katie practices in person and virtually through the 1440 Lead Well and Work Well learning pillars. She also coordinates 1440 community-building efforts — strengthening relationships through purposeful teambuilding — and serves on the board of the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County.
Katie believes in the concept of living one integrated life of authenticity and finds fulfillment in helping individuals and groups grow through personalized coaching and meaningful connection. Prior to joining 1440, Katie spent 15 years in marketing and public relations across sports, hospitality, nonprofit, and lifestyle industries, along with leading communications for major events including the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
Based in Silicon Valley between San Jose and Santa Cruz, Katie is deeply committed to lifelong learning. After hours, she’s a silversmith who enjoys creative expression, playing tennis and golf, and exploring California on road trips.
