Mark’s passion is developing empowered leaders who build cohesive, high-performance teams to deliver breakthrough results. He believes people are the force multiplier in successful businesses transforming markets and our world. His specific focus is on Technology Leaders, having led global technology teams in many different markets. As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), he has helped develop 1,000+ leaders and hundreds of teams globally. He is certified with many standard assessments such as Everything DiSC, ESCI, the Leadership Challenge, and, of course, Designing Your Life. His work with Teams leverages certifications in the Team Effectiveness Model and The 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. He also teaches and coaches in MBA programs at Darden, Duke, and JMU to provide a solid foundation for the next generation of leaders and to stay current on emerging leadership themes. He is also certified in the anthym platform that uses music and the arts to bring together virtual and hybrid teams in a fun and productive way. He uses inspiring musical timepieces from every decade to help leaders relate to the joys and nuances of everyday leadership through his blog, LeadingWithMusic. A Georgetown Executive Leadership Coaching program graduate, Mark also holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and Bachelor’s degrees in Physics, Electrical Engineering, and Applied Math from Southern Methodist University.
