Michael is a relationship builder and believes in the power of positivity. His time spent guiding an organization rooted in youth mentoring and empowerment shaped his belief that all challenges in life are opportunities, and his role is to support each individual on their path to “winning” their opportunities. By first building a trusting, supportive relationship as a foundation, he believes he can support every individual in finding their success.

Michael is a dad and partner, with diverse experiences working in hospitality, recreation, nonprofit management, youth mentoring, education, adventure sports, and coaching of all sorts. In each experience, Michael served in a variety of roles, including leadership, operations, human resources, student, mentor, and as a teacher/trainer/coach. His academic pursuits are equally varied, holding a B.S. in Recreation Management, M.A.T. in Special Education, a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology, and completing the NCDA course, Facilitating Career Development.

Michael lives in Essex Junction, Vermont with his wife, Elizabeth, and two sons, Wyatt and Levi. When he is not on campus, you’ll find him coaching Little League, skiing, or traveling with his family.
