Dr. Güneri earned her doctorate in Guidance and Psychological Counseling from Middle East Technical University (METU). Professor Güneri is currently serving as the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs at TED University and as a faculty member in the Department of Educational Sciences. She brings over three decades of experience in higher education to her life design practice. Her academic journey includes research at the University of Minnesota and postdoctoral studies at Harvard University, enriching her expertise in counseling and education.
Throughout her career, Dr. Güneri has held significant leadership roles, including Director of the METU Learning and Student Development Office and Director of the Center for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching. Vice Rector of Education at Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus Campus. Her areas of interest encompass enhancing teaching and learning in higher education, faculty career development, counseling with college students, career development and counseling.
Dr. Güneri integrates design thinking principles to assist individuals in navigating career transitions, building meaningful professional paths, and enhancing personal well-being. Her approach combines academic insight with life design strategies, supporting clients in crafting lives aligned with their values and aspirations.
