Sarah Wojnicki Smith is known for coaching and teaching emerging leaders and early career professionals who want to discover their leadership strengths. She creates transformational experiences through one-to-one coaching, group facilitation, and immersive retreats. Sarah also designs and delivers custom leadership development programs for undergraduate students, professional associations, and alumni communities. Drawing on design thinking, and leadership and equity-minded frameworks, she helps clients clarify their current needs and beliefs and prototype future possibilities.
As Program Director of the Carlson School of Management’s Leadership Lab, Sarah has guided hundreds of students through moments of growth, transition, and leadership discovery both in and outside the classroom. She teaches courses in life design, individual and group leadership, and experiential learning. She has also co-facilitated retreats for women navigating career and life change, supporting participants in building clarity, confidence, and community.
Sarah is a trained facilitator through the Stanford Life Design Studio and is a graduate of the Leadership Education Academy. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University and a B.A. in English Writing from Elmhurst University. She lives in Minneapolis, MN with her family.
