My name is Thea Mangila Mushi. I am a Tanzanian, born and raised on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, in Moshi Rural District, Kibosho ward at a small village called Sambarai.
Since my childhood, I realized EDUCATION was the key towards my own success and that of my family and the community around me.
After my studies, I preferred not to work with Government but joined International Volunteer Organizations such as APSO – Irish based in 1994 and CCS – US based in 2004. My aim was to be close to people and community at large to support them socially and economically their development.
My journey towards working as a coach started in 2018, when I met with Erica Morh, who was my volunteer with CCS. She introduced Coaching to me and I was very interested with it. Furthermore, she introduced me to Coach Laurel who coached me. My interest towards coaching become increased, I therefore joined WLC Course under Sasamani Foundation in collaboration with University of Dar-es- Salaam. Coaching was one of other topics. After the course I was selected with other trainees to be coaches for WLC candidates.
In addition, I am also Coach Coordinator in Tanzania.
