Established Yu Jia Zhu Scholarship at the University of Toronto to support international students from China, where she originally came from. Founded Canada’s first Chinese-speaking therapist directory, listing 100+ therapists for free. Adjunct lecturer/professor at different universities.
Became the first person to propose and successfully execute a solution to the nonprofit industrial complex (NPIC) as a solo founder using Founder Mode, launching For A Safer Space (FASS), the world’s first organization offering unlimited free mental health counseling, psychotherapy, emotional support, and coaching sessions globally. Personally initiated a petition advocating for the inclusion of mental health services in the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Thanks to dedicated political lobbying efforts across Canada, the petition garnered nearly 10,000 signatures and was successfully presented at the Ontario Legislative Assembly. Served as the co-organizer and MCed for Canada’s largest Asian solidarity rally in history.
