Carly Janson is a certified executive coach and facilitator with 25+ years of experience. Carly partners with individuals, groups, and teams to help them find greater fulfillment in their careers and lives. From 2012 to 2023, she served as a Director of the Career Management Center at Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). She co-founded and led the GSB’s Career and Life Design program in partnership with the Stanford Life Design Lab and Dave Evans, co-author of Designing Your Life. She also oversaw Alumni Career Services for Stanford GSB’s 30,000+ alumni and coached hundreds of MBA and mid-career students and alumni. Carly is an experienced workshop and course lead. She has taught leadership development, career management, and career and life design courses and workshops for Harvard, Stanford GSB, Stanford D.School, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Intuit. Carly is also the founder of New Sector Alliance, a leadership development company. She started her career in management consulting at BCG and Accenture, where she worked with clients in financial services, health care, technology, and the public sector and built expertise in talent development. She co-founded BCG’s Social Impact Practice and was a leadership and talent development expert. Carly has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Princeton.
