Hi, I’m James — a Life Design coach, facilitator, and founder of The Aliveness Project.
My work is for people who can feel that something in their life wants to change, even if they can’t yet name what it is. Maybe life looks “fine” on paper, but something feels flat. Maybe you’re in a transition, recovering from loss, questioning your path, or sensing that the version of success you inherited no longer fits.
I’m passionate about helping people come back into honest contact with themselves — their energy, grief, creativity, desire, intuition, and courage — and then turn that awareness into small, real-life experiments. I believe clarity rarely arrives from thinking harder. It comes from noticing what feels alive, testing your way forward, and learning to trust the data of your own life.
My own path has been shaped by deep loss, reinvention, creativity, and a lifelong fascination with what makes people feel fully themselves. Losing my sister when I was young gave me an early relationship with grief, change, and the preciousness of being here. Over the years, that has become a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s turning points with more honesty, play, and possibility.
Coaching with me is experiential, warm, energetic, and creative. Expect real conversation, thoughtful reflection, practical Life Design tools, playful experiments, and the occasional loving challenge. I bring depth, but not heaviness. I care about truth, but also joy.
Above all, I’m here to help you design a life that feels more like yours.
