Mara Rose

I have spent nearly 30 years working in impact-oriented roles with nonprofit organizations, for-profit social ventures, government agencies, and higher education. Throughout my career, I have moved between sectors in various management and consulting roles, titrating between work in the trenches of building social-impact companies and organizations and supporting students and professionals as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of building careers that prioritize people and the planet just as much as profits. I have coached, funded, educated, evaluated, and supported aspiring impact-oriented professionals as the Director of Social Entrepreneurship at the NYU Stern School of Business and now as a faculty member and coach at CU Boulder’s Masters of the Environment program, a two-year sustainably graduate program. I hold an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MA in Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College.
