As a career coach, I work with people who have arrived at a career crossroads and want to—or have to — make a change. I’ve helped hundreds of people facing career dilemmas, including redundancy, redeployment, outplacement, burnout, and simply being in jobs that just weren’t right for them. It’s all about creating a new design for their working life and supporting them in making the change.

My insights come from over 25 years’ experience in corporate, government HR and consultancy roles where I’ve worked with individuals on their career strategies and helped organisations to improve systems, identify and retain talent, and build their workforce capability.

Career change isn’t just a theory for me. I began my working life as a nurse, then moved into community education. From there, I pursued new opportunities in employee relations and organisational development. I kept noticing the problems that arose (for individuals and organisations) when people were stuck in the wrong roles. I also noticed individuals and teams’ effectiveness when working to their strengths.

My core belief is that there’s a place for everyone. My coaching work is about helping people uncover what that place could look like and taking steps to get there.
